Read MoreI didn’t truly see the value in planning family photos until we had Ford. Now, time seems to go so fast and he’s constantly growing and changing which makes me want to capture every stage. I knew without a doubt that we would do family photos this fall to capture this time and to include for holiday cards! Truthfully, I didn’t send out holiday cards last year but am making it a priority this year. I thought I would share my planning tips and some advice to make your session go smoothly. Of course, I highly suggest working with a photographer that you can trust to execute your vision. I ended up going with a new photographer in KC this year and was blown away by the results! Thanks, Kelsey!

Plus, I am running all over the place. So, I have to get ready in a look that works for work errands, meetings & photo shoots, and taking care of the baby. Quite the feat. Here are my current winter basics that have been on repeat and can be worn in so many ways. Seriously, just throw it on and go!
Read MoreIf I am being totally honest, creating a “wish list” for myself was really hard this year.
