Holiday Gift Guide: My List
If I am being totally honest, creating a “wish list” for myself was really hard this year. It was such a big year having Ford and growing our family that I didn’t feel like there was anything I truly needed. But after my husband and a few family members hounding me, I pulled together a few items I wouldn’t mind having…so, I thought I would share as a way to possibly inspire you, if you are also struggling to come up with ideas or need inspiration for someone on your list!
A luxe card holder - I love asking for more expensive pieces that I wouldn’t necessarily buy for myself for the holiday. I honestly prefer giving or receiving one or two big gifts vs. lots of little things. So, a YSL card holder would be something fun and chic to gift or receive this season. It’s the perfect size to throw in your handbag and never goes out of style.
A weekender bag - I received this weekender bag a few years ago as a gift and LOVE it. I’ve also given it as a gift to a girlfriend for her birthday and it was a hit. The reason it’s back on my list is because mine has gone through some wear and tear and it’s time for a new one. I have gotten so much use out of this bag from weekend getaways to even packing for photo shoots or work errands. It’s amazing for the price point and so functional.
Skincare essentials - the holiday season is the best time to try skincare or beauty brands you’ve had your eye on because most brands create fun gift sets that are affordable and filled with their most popular items. I love receiving skincare sets to try new products! I also love buying multiple sets and pulling them apart to create custom gift baskets for friends.
Cleanser brush - I’ve had the Clarisonic for years, but am so intrigued by this little cleanser gadget. It looks like less maintenance than the typical cleanser brush and I love the compact format. This would be fun to gift for the beauty lover that has all the products she needs because it’s more unique and fun.
The sentimental gift - I literally wear the same jewelry everyday - only my fine jewelry that has a special meaning. I’ve been wanting to start a memory band stack for awhile and am hoping my husband gets the hint. With so many big celebrations on the horizon, I’d love to collect some new rings that have sentiment and will always make me remember these special times, like Ford’s first Christmas or my upcoming 30th birthday. Are you reading this, hubs?
The coolest coffee mug - Okay, I am in love with this coffee mug that keeps your drink at your ideal temperature all day. I actually am buying this as a gift for a few people this year, but wouldn’t mind receiving one myself. As a new mom, my coffee is always cold. This would solve that problem and its chic design makes it a must-have.
Stylish winter boots - It’s already snowed so much in the Midwest. So, one can never have too many winter weather-approved shoes. I love that these look like stylish booties, but won’t get ruined in the snow or slush. I’ve seen them on and they look great on women of all ages and styles. I’ve been eyeing this pair for awhile and think it’s finally time they joined my shoe collection.
Classic shades - I don’t have a huge sunglasses collection because I prefer quality over quantity. So, a new pair would be fun to have. Again, one of those things that isn’t a must, but would be nice to go into the new year with new sunnies. The best gift for the woman that has everything!
