DIY Vision Board Tips
I am a big believer in visualizing your dreams.
I DIY’d this vision board for my office 4 or 5 years ago and it’s one of my favorite pieces I own now. It was seriously so easy to do and love that it’s custom to my style! I found a vintage frame at a local antique market and knew I had to turn it into something special. From there, I found a gold spray paint I liked and gave it an even coat. Then I found picture hanging wire and cork from the craft store and connected the pieces. Voila! A simple, but beautiful vision board was ready to hang all of my favorite odds & ends and inspiration.

But why do a vision board? Here are a few reasons why…
It’s a fun way to display little things that make you smile or inspire you
It’s a fun reminder of things you have accomplished or things you want to do
It’s a way to be reminded of all that you can be grateful for
It’s a powerful way to stay focused on your goals and big dreams

I’ve had this postcard from Paris from my best friend on my vision board for 4 years now. I recently filmed a TV segment with @kctv5 in November 2019 showing how I DIY’d this board and mentioned keeping it on for 2020 without any idea it would happen. You guys, I’m going to Paris!
I’m not sharing this to brag, but to share the power of MANIFESTING.
I’ve been manifesting this trip for 4+ years. And now it’s finally happening. I know it sounds ‘woo-woo’ but every morning, I wrote down my goals intentionally. And I keep going. I didn’t have the money for this trip when I wrote it down. I honestly didn’t believe I had it when I booked it. But that’s the beauty of believing in your dreams.
If you’re feeling discouraged because things aren’t *happening* for you...keep going. Keep writing down that goal and taking steps forward every day to get there. Find ways to make it happen and it will!
